Arrow game strategy: follow the blockers
A useful arrow game strategy starts with a question: what is stopping this piece from leaving? Follow that obstruction until you find an arrow with a clear route. This guide explains how to read the whole moving piece and use that information in harder levels.
PlayArrow A points right, but B occupies its route. B points up and has an empty route. Remove B first, then A can slide out. The important clue is the obstruction between the pieces, rather than their colors.
Read the entire arrow, including its bends
The arrowhead gives the movement direction. Every cell in that piece slides in the same direction: the piece does not follow its bent line like a train on a track. Imagine the whole shape moving one square at a time.
A head can appear to have an empty lane while the tail would hit another piece. Check the parallel lanes swept by the rest of the body. When a move is blocked, the marked collision cell shows where the contact occurs.
Work backwards from a blocked piece
Choose a piece you want to remove and inspect the arrows in its swept area. If a blocker is also trapped, follow its blocker next. Stop when you reach a clear route. Removing that piece begins to unwind the chain.
There can be several valid removal orders. A legal removal only takes occupied cells away, so it cannot make the remaining board less solvable. You do not need to restart just because you chose a different legal arrow.
Find the small number of starting exits
In Free Arrow Game, later campaign levels contain more arrows but fewer pieces that can leave immediately. Scan for a genuinely open route instead of tapping every arrow at random. After a removal, inspect nearby routes that may have opened.
The final few arrows can be easier than the middle of the puzzle. Keep checking the whole body rather than assuming every remaining arrow is free. Timed play is optional, so learn the pattern without a countdown first.
Use the phone controls and continue your run
Use the plus and minus controls or pinch to enlarge a dense board. Drag the enlarged view to inspect another area; the percentage button restores the full board. Zoom changes the view, not the puzzle.
The game runs free in your browser with no download or sign-up. When local storage is available, unfinished runs are saved on this device. A resumed Daily can be completed for practice, while a fresh hint-free attempt is needed for the leaderboard.
